The Alberta Cricket Association is Governing body of Cricket in Province of Alberta and a Provincial Sports Organization (PSO). Alberta Cricket Association (ACA) is a member of Cricket Canada, which became an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1968.

Alberta Cricket Association administers the Provincial men's, women's and Junior teams as well as several youth teams at various age levels. In addition, Alberta Cricket Association and its affiliates run several grassroots and development programs and leagues across Alberta. Today, cricket is the fastest growing sport in Alberta with well over 6000 cricketers across the province. The ACA is responsible for the organization and governance of cricket's major tournaments, most notably Mega intercity, Red Deer Cup, Manmeet Bhullar Cup, Alberta High Performance League, Alberta Minor League and Women Cricket League. ACA also appoints the umpires and referees that officiate at all ACA matches, One Day and Twenty 20 games. It promulgates the Code of Conduct, which sets professional standards of discipline for Provincial cricket.

Alberta Cricket Association Flagship Event Champions Cricket Open is one of the Biggest Cricket Championships in Canada with more than 350,000 people watching Champions Cricket Open on multiple digital streams in 2022. Over 127 First Class Cricketers around the globe participated in this Mega Event which was organized in 5 different Cricket Grounds in Edmonton.

In 2023, Champions Cricket Open sets new records of Team participation as well as Spectators from around the globe. 28 teams with over 150 first class players came to participate from across the globe. All the games were live telecast through our media partner Home Team Live from 6 different Cricket grounds in edmonton with multiple cameras. Over Million people watched 48 games live on our digital platform. 163,000 people watched Final game of Champions Cricket Open.
